Both shoes are handsewn double quarter boots, with a waxed full grain leather upper, oiled and waxed tin cloth outer quarter all on a low-profile Vibram® rugged sole. This collection is inspired by the dark edges of the unknown, the vast areas of terrain where you must be prepared for anything, where the trail intersects with the imagination, and utility meets aesthetics. SEBAGO AND VANE NEW YORK TO OPEN “POP UP SHOP” IN MANHATTAN’S LOWER EAST SIDE FROM MARCH 27 THROUGH APRIL 20, 2009

Limited Edition VANE for Sebago Line Spinnaker® Boat Shoes Will Be Offered Alongside Select Jewelry and Nautical Footwear and Apparel
ROCKFORD, Mich. (March 2009) – Sebago, leading manufacturer of authentic classic, casual and marine footwear, has announced that it will join with VANE New York to open a temporary “pop-up shop” at 125 Rivington Street in New York City. The store will celebrate the launch of the unique collaboration between the footwear company and the New York-based design and fashion collective. The store will feature the new VANE for Sebago limited edition collection of shoes, as well as the VANE private label jewelry collection, additional Sebago footwear styles, and select Sebago apparel pieces. The shop will be open March 27th through April 20th and a launch party is planned for March 27th at 8 pm.
